Section Notes

2. Time limits include assembly, tuning, warm-up and performance.
3. School bands may not enter this section
4. Instrumentation may include percussion.
5. Performance times MUST be included on the entry form.

Class 155-01 – Community Brass & Reed Bands
Fee: $140.00
36 to 60 players. Time limit 20 mins.

Class 155-02 – Community Bands – Age 18 & Under
Fee: $140.00
35 or fewer players. Time limit 15 mins.

Class 155-03 – Community Bands – Open
Fee: $140.00
Time limit 15 mins.

Class 155-04 – Community Bands – Age 18 & Under
Fee: $140.00
Time limit 15 mins.

Section 156: Community Brass Bands

Section Notes

1. Refer to Rules 18 and 37. Read all Syllabus rules with care.
2. A Brass Band shall consist of any or all of the following instruments: cornets or trumpets, flugel horns, E flat alto horns, baritones/euphoniums, trombones, tubas and drums. (Percussion is optional.)
3. School bands may not enter this section
4. Own choice. Time limit 20 minutes includes assembly, tuning, warm-up and performance.
5. ‘A’ and ‘B’ represent level of proficiency, ‘A’ being more advanced.
6. Performance times MUST be included on the entry form.
