Duets and Trios
- Refer to Rules 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 23, 25, 50, 51, 53, 65 and 80. Read all Syllabus rules with care.
- Memorization is required.
- NEW: Participants may enter a class more than once as long as different repertoire is entered. A separate registration is required for each entry.
- A piece of music, whether prescribed or own choice, cannot be used by a competitor in more than one class.
- For classes 20216 to 20222, competitors must enter the class corresponding to the age of the oldest member of the duet/trio.
- To be eligible for a scholarship, competitors must enter a minimum of TWO classes and receive a minimum mark of 85.
- Performance times MUST be included on the entry form.
- Participants have the option to participate either "in person" or "virtually". This decision must be made at the time of registration.
- Participants who choose the virtual option will be responsible for arranging to have a video recording made of their performance and for creating a YouTube channel that can be shared with the Toronto Kiwanis Festival Office via the online registration system.
- All classes in this section are eligible to proceed to the Provincial level of competition (June, 2025) upon adjudicator recommendation. Participants should be aware that the Provincial's registration deadline will be March 30, 2025.
