Leslie-Anne Holmeshaw has nurtured a lifelong passion for music, dreaming of becoming a conductor from the tender age of five when she orchestrated performances with her beloved stuffed animals. She holds a Bachelors of Music Education (Honours) from the University of Western Ontario and boasts a distinguished 35-year career as a music educator in York Region. As a Director of over 25 musicals, community choirs, high school concert bands, and wind ensembles, she has dedicated her life to inspiring young musicians and cultivating a profound love for music within them. Leslie-Anne has also shared her expertise as a faculty member at IMC and TMC, and has enjoyed working with students as a flute clinician. As a current teacher and admissions officer at MEI Academy (World Classroom), she continues to share her passion for education and global exploration. She cherishes the opportunity to connect with and inspire the next generation of musicians, finding adjudication a rewarding experience that allows her to share her expertise and encourage young talent to embrace music as a lifelong journey of learning and personal growth.
