秦子雯
中国音乐学院古筝演奏学士,师从著名古筝演奏家邱霁教授。多伦多优秀青年古筝演奏家,北美古筝考级评委,北美民乐国际大赛评委。

秦子雯演奏技法娴熟,音色柔美而明亮,音乐表现细腻传神。无论是韵味深远的传统筝曲,还是技巧复杂、风格多样的现代作品,皆能精准把握作品神韵。其举重若轻的演奏技巧与灵动自然的舞台表现,常令观众赞叹不已。

2008年,作为中国音乐学院学生代表,参与北京奥运会开幕式音乐录制,担任《礼乐》篇章的古筝伴奏。在校期间受林兆华、汪瑜两位老师邀请,成为厅堂版《牡丹亭》指定古筝伴奏演员,并曾担任中央电视台《文化访谈录》专题片古筝示范演奏。她还参与了纪念邱大成先生逝世十周年古筝音乐会、邱霁师生音乐会以及纪念二胡演奏家刘明源先生诞辰一百周年音乐会等重要演出,并多次作为指定古筝演奏者在人民大会堂、钓鱼台国宾馆等重要外事场合演出,深受中央首长及中外嘉宾肯定。

移居加拿大后,秦子雯活跃于北美舞台,长期参与多伦多及周边地区重要文化演出,包括中国音乐学院《国乐精英耀多城》中乐专场、中国驻加拿大大使馆文化交流活动。多伦多华人春节文艺晚会、多伦多亚裔文化月、北美中乐团音乐会等。她曾担任敦煌室内乐古筝首席,随团展开为期一年的加拿大巡回演出。

在跨界与国际合作方面,秦子雯受邀与加拿大著名作曲家 Alice Ho 合作作品《Lesson of Da Ji》并录制发行CD;应著名长笛演奏家 Ron Korb 邀请,参与其作品中中国音乐元素的录制并在多伦多出版;同时参与 LUMINATO 艺术节、音乐剧 The Ward Cabaret 等多项国际艺术项目,致力于推动中国传统音乐在国际舞台上的传播与融合。


Ziwen Cynthia Qin
Ziwen Cynthia Qin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Guzheng Performance from the China Conservatory of Music, where she studied under renowned guzheng master Professor Qiu Ji. She is an outstanding young guzheng performer based in Toronto, a certified examiner for North American guzheng grading systems, and a jury member of the North American Chinese Music International Competition.

Recognized for her refined technique, luminous tone, and expressive musicality, Qin’s performances seamlessly balance technical mastery with deep artistic sensitivity. She excels in both traditional guzheng repertoire and technically demanding contemporary works, presenting each piece with stylistic authenticity and vivid musical character. Her effortless technique and elegant stage presence have earned wide acclaim.

In 2008, Qin was selected as a student representative of the China Conservatory of Music to participate in the music recording for the Beijing Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, performing guzheng accompaniment in the “Ritual Music (礼乐)” segment. During her studies, she was invited by directors Lin Zhaohua and Wang Yu to serve as the designated guzheng accompanist for the chamber version of The Peony Pavilion. She has also appeared as a guzheng demonstrator on CCTV’s cultural documentary program Cultural Interview.

Qin has performed in numerous prestigious concerts and commemorative events, including memorial concerts for master guzheng artist Qiu Dacheng and erhu virtuoso Liu Mingyuan. She has been an appointed guzheng performer for state and diplomatic events at venues such as the Great Hall of the People and Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, receiving high praise from government leaders and international guests.

After immigrating to Canada, Qin has remained highly active in the North American music scene, performing regularly in major cultural events across Toronto and beyond. She has also participated in cultural exchange events organized by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Canada. She served as principal guzheng of Dunhuang Chamber Ensemble, touring Canada for a year. Her international collaborations include working with acclaimed Canadian composer Alice Ho on Lesson of Da Ji (CD recording and release), recording Chinese musical elements for flutist Ron Korb, and participating in interdisciplinary projects such as the LUMINATO Festival and the musical The Ward Cabaret. Through performance and collaboration, she continues to promote Chinese traditional music on the global stage.
